What light through yonder window breaks?
by subacati
Is it a space ship? No.
Little green men? Sort of.
Actually, it's a little green glowing grub. π .
I was on my way home when this bright green light caught my eye. :eyes: .
My first thought was that someone had dropped a cellphone or pocket
radio or something.
Imagine my suprise when, on further investigation, it turned out to be
a glowing worm. π .
I've never seen one of those up close..
Brilliant eh.. Bioluminescense I think its called.. Not too sure about the spelling though.. And too lazy to look it up.. π
My first time to see one myself. :p .It's amazing how bright that tiny light is, my cellphone camera hardly picks up lights. Even with the 'flash' on, you can still see the green glow. compare that with the led lights on my charger in yesterdays post. :eyes:
The spelling looks right. I do know that scientist can't fully replicate it. They can mix chemicals to give a similar effect, but they can't get the same quality of sustained light. They also haven't quite figured out how fireflys turn thier light on and of. :left:
A glowing worm? :PThank you for visit my blog!.
Cool, your new pet?
:lol:At list, you have a nice green light at night! π
No, my new neighbour actually. π .And he's brighter than most of my other neighbours. (pun intended) .
π You have to start the standards somewhere :D:devil:
That's totally frikkin' weird.
God's handiwork is always amazing.
Maybe it's an alien glowing worm.
