Welcome to your new home. You’ll never leave.
Mwuhahahahaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!
I said that about My Opera… :left:
And you moved that home rather than leaving it.
Still more immigrants are coming to our new settlement. Time to appoint a sheriff and set-up a saloon and a brothel.
I believe there is a brothel already at, http://thedarkfurie.wordpress.com/2013/11/12/its-my-birthday/?replytocom=1037#respond
I’d say I’m more Sheriff than pimp.
So would most pimps! :p
To jail with you.
Wwwww WHOA! Wait a minute. A Keyboard? You were smashing your head into your Keyboard? Either you have a huge Dino cellphone from the 80s … or were you perhaps importing your Blog with a Windows computer?
The Opera Browser Chuck! The Opera Browser is not compatible with the Internet! :irked:
And I only use my cell in an emergency these days. But once Operamini is shut down, I won’t have a browser for my cell in any case! π¦
So Opera mini won’t function at all anymore?
Well, it’s still working,… For now…
But I suspect that sooner or later they’re gonna turn off the proxy server and then poof, no more Mini! π¦
then I’m toast. Didn’t think of that. And now i just got to solve my ‘comments WordPress’ dilemma and then this little gem gets dropped in my lap.
My phone’s in built browser freezes after a few comments and I need to restart. Awesome.
Square one.
Interesting pattern that your Archives text has as you scroll up and down.
Glad you did, Aadil.. Really! (up)
Thanks! π
Now if only I could make My Opera smilies work here! :sherlock:
I second that motion – MyOpera smilies to work on WordPress

Me too, man! The MyOpera ethnic group grows on WordPress.
And if there could be a saloon and brothel set up… π
Well, it was that or stop blogging! Even those of us who only ever blog occasionally could never stop altogether! :insane:
What do you mean Opera Browser isn’t compatible with the Internet, Aadil? Opera Browser IS the only Browser that can get me on the Internet. Chrome and Firefox don’t want anything to do with Dino technology.
I had to use Iceweasel to get the import to work here. Opera just doesn’t run on every site. And the ‘new improved’ Opera is an Opera themed Chromium as far as I know. :p
You should really try Iceweasel on your dinos Chuck!:whistle: π
Wait a minute. I don’t understand. Isn’t Opera Mini a Mobile Browser? Or is it sort of a combo Browser and a Service?
Are you saying that when MyOpera shuts down, Opera Mini is also going to be no more? What am I missing?
I believe that, like with everything else Opera, it’s only a matter of time before they pull the plug on the Operamini transcoding proxy.
Which will effectively kill Operamini as it’s only a thin client and cannot work without the proxy! π¦
If you start getting MyOpera Smilies Withdrawal Symptoms, move on over to Blogger. I have them working flawlessly great in the comments. I did have to install some Code in my Blog’s HTML template though to get them to work. Well, the Code was not specifically for Smilies, but for allowing the inserting of images in general in the comments.
I specify “in the comments” because inserting the Smilies in the Posts is a different story. I can insert Smilies in the Posts, but it does involve a bit of wrestling with each Smiley. Every time I insert a Smiley in a Post, I have to do some careful, calculated backspacing on both sides of the Smiley in order to position it where it should be. Cuz the image insertion function never places it where I want it. And if I go one backspace too much, POOF! The Smiley disappears and I have to start again. Grrrrrrrrr!
I almost managed to import My Opera to Blogger!
Then finally managed to get it imported here. π
And even then, for some strange, mysterious reason, once I actually publish a post, some of the Smilies won’t display. I’ll see the blank spots where I know there should be Smilies, but they just don’t display. They’ll display while I’m composing the post and in the preview shot of the post … just not in the actual published post. And I haven’t been able to figure out the pattern, the logic, the common denominator that will indicate where or why a Smiley is likely to not display. I just resign myself to that whichever Smilies aren’t displaying, I just delete them.
Maybe you too can Google up some Code with which to modify your Blog’s template to accept Smilies and images in general in the comments.
so who is the new sheriff? [/img]
good to see you, Aadil … I’m sstill not ready with moving … needs a little more spare time.
Well, you have more than one blog to move so that’s understandable π
It’s actually a little daunting to move a blog, even for us techie people. π
