New spam!

Gmail warns me that similar messages have been used for identity theft! :p
Not that I needed the warning. After all, what would Google need Correctional Officers for?
I'm tempted to bait this one just for the fun of it!
Oh, nice thinking Harry. Almost plausible. Almost. :p
Maybe Google think that you have some transferable skills from your current employment that a search engine giant could use. It may be your Linux knowhow – they might have some Android problems ๐
What was the (Dot).com address, Adil?
bait! Bait! Bait!
Well, Google and their partners keep coming up with tech and keeping it open in the spirit of being fair to consumers. Then certain other fruit flavoured companies with rapidly falling stock prices come along, patent that tech and sue them for using it despite having used it for years before. Your new job will be more torturer than correctional officer, but the hours and general setup is the same.

Well, maybe they figured a Correctional Officer was along the lines of a Chief Proofreader? Now you'd be in Management … the Google Proofreaders' Supervisor. More money, better vacations.
Haha!! I never really thought of actually writing back to spam… What happens? o.O
they ask for your bank details and you get a zillion dollars…. :left: I got more money than billy gates… and i get to meet some Nigerian princesses who only want me for my body…
Tina Yak lives!!
ROFL!!!!!! COIS OMG LAUGHING SO HARD!!!
Bill Gays?
for all your penis inflation needs? :insane:
Nah, not gay, Bill Gates. Just nerdy. Born again, I've heard. Gave half of his money to Africa or something. Prolly went to Nigeria. Did somebody say, 'Outlook'?

I made the mistake of getting a Gmail account for writing purposes. Now, I am a fly caught in Google's web, and they are relentless in collecting info about me. I'll bet those Google street view guys also go through my garbage cans…

I've looked for <anyone I know> in all the likely (and unlikely but possible) places in streetview – no luck. *sigh*
That little antenna also eavesdrops on your wireless network and can collect emails and passwords! I am now trying to minimize my digital footprint on the Internet, but this effort is probably doomed because I also made the mistake of trying to promote sales of my books through LinkedIn and Twitter!
Ohhh, Google Street View Guys, eh?So THAT's what they are. I just went to Google Google Street View and I guess this answers my Mom's question. She told me just yesterday that on Sunday she had seen a little white Station Wagon / SUV with Google written on the sides and it had some weird antenna contraption on the top. She asked me what it was, what it was doing.I told her I was of course familiar with Google, but didn't know what that oddly-equipped Google vehicle was doing. My Dad did mention later on that it did also say something about "Mapping."
I do make it a point to provide my E-mail Address only when absolutely needed.Nowadays everyone and their dog want to collect your E-mail Address. Whenever any store, business like RadioShack wants to know my E-mail Address, I just tell them NO.As to using a Free Software Apps or joining a Forum that requires your E-mail Address? Well, I have to weigh how much I REALLY need and want to use that Free App and how useful that Forum would be and how often I'd use it.
I did read the euphemistic version of "eavesdropping" there on Wikipedia:Originally posted by Wikipedia:
Google wouldn't dare eavesdrop. They scan and monitor for our own good. ๐ :insane: In my case, I don't use Wireless. I don't like Wireless much of anything. I don't care for Wireless Keyboards, Mouses / Mice, Cordless Phones, Etc. So at least there I'm safe from the nefarious Google Mobile Scanning Squad.
