No spoilers here! Just wanted to say that episode 2 was not bad! :hat:.
The American input has changed the flavour slightly though! Let's hope they can fix that problem as the story progresses!.

Oh dear.. The majority of the things I've downloaded have been Rars.
.rar archives are always dangerous if they come from a dubious source!.
I didn't know that either Aadil.

Well, they can't harm Linux. :left:. .rar archives are the Windows version of .tar archive on *nix systems. Usually only used for source tarballs!.But on Windows, a .rar can behave like a .deb on Ubuntu, but since most Windows machines are running in Administrator mode, (same as Root in Linux) there is no double-check or password request to warn you! :insane:.

http://www.iantivirus.com/threats/Macs can get viruses just as easily as PCs, just not the same ones. The only difference is they don't sell as many so the virus creators don't bother with them as often. There's always some though and the outdated, and falsely advertised, "Macs can't get viruses" idea is dangerous to have when you've spent that much money on hardware.

Just to be clear, I have a 5 year old Acer laptop which can barely support internet access, and use no anti-virus at all! It's survived this long.
I have an Acer. It came with Linux. And I don't believe the, "Mac/Linux can't get virus's" line because All modern computers have the vulnerability of using one ram matrix for both instructions and data. :left:.Thus, a virus is always possible. :insane:.Remember that most Windows virus's usually start out as trojans, that is, they are actually installed by the user who thinks it's good software or a funny PowerPoint presentation. :awww:.And any system will allow the user to install software. (or be tossed to the curb for being iUseless )
Exactly..
MACs are vulnerable to viruses. I know people with MACs who have suffered from viruses. You just have to be careful where you install your software from and be careful where you download from.
As is the case with any download. But I must say I don't worry about viruses much on my pcs. Both my pcs are dual-booted with two Linux distros each and I do not use anti-virus. I don't have my Compaq pc set up yet, just my Acer. Am thinking about getting a new Acer and selling my Compaq. Anyone want to buy a 2008 Compaq with Linux Peppermint and Linux Mint 10 Kde dual booted? ๐
Sure, ship them to Clint for me. He doesn't know it yet but he's about to get a load of PC hardware and build me a media PC for my TV. ๐
.
I'll get right on that Furie. Can Clint do all that?
Well, I guess we're gonna find out. :p..
If he can't I'll turn South Africa into a desert wasteland. ๐ก

Wow! :eyes:. The series is really 'hotting up'! :insane:. (pun intended!)
You see the end of episode 4? The trailer for next time thing? I'm a sucker for that sort of trailer.

Soon my pretties, soon…
Don't know the actress' name in Mik's spoilers, but she used to play a doctor on Emergency. I like her.
Alex Kingston.
That is she. Did ya'll get Emergency show in Britain?
It was called ER here. Good show if there was nothing else on. I was mostly working during the later years and schooling during the early ones but caught a few.
Ah, that show..
You are correct Furie—it was ER. Momentary brain lapse. I watched it faithfully till the last season or two.
