I didn't even recognise the names I removed and some of them haven't posted anything in two years or more! :faint:.

Too bad I didn't learn about this earlier. Sure would have saved me a lot of time. I have 193 'friends' and need to remove about 180 of them.
:lol:.What is irritating is the slow, one by one, method that is the only option. :irked:.
It does seem to be a daunting task.
For whatever reason, I have settled on having about 40ish friends, including you both, and surprisingly, yet pleasantly, many of those family and friends have been determined to reconnect on Facebook. One such friend also started a Opera Community Group on Facebook. It confirmed to me, that these folks with whom I associate are genuinely interested in maintaining contact, regardless. Although, the frequency of contact does vary somewhat. Happy Easter you two! 😎

I removed all the people I don't know as well as those I no longer talk to. It was quite a process. I removed almost 180! I went to each blog before deleting. Some of the people I used to talk to often have apparently abandoned their blogs. I had almost 20 friend requests pending for about a week now. Since none of those people have visited or commented on my blog, I clicked on No to their request.
What bugs me is that they have an ,"accept all requests" button but no, "deny all requests" button. :irked:.What's the chances that you'll have large numbers of people who you know all sending you a friends request at the same time anyway? :confused:.
Exactly! The "deny all requests" button would be more useful. When you remove a friend from your blog, it also removes you from their blog. I think a most of my friend requests stem from people going through their friends list and sending out random requests.
That's why I created this badge to send random requests and the linked post to explain to them.
