Do we really need instructions for this? …
Whenever I come across this type of useless information, I wonder how if anyone out there is actually stupid enough to need this?
Can the person who actually needs these instructions even figure out how to turn their computer on? Does such a person know how to open a door, or turn on a tap? Does this mark the average intellect of people on the internet? And if it does, what does this say about me? :left:.
I present to you;
The E-HOW of,,,
…how to get a PCMCIA to USB converter! :doh:.

As Bill Hicks would say,,, "Here's your sign!" :rolleyes:.
π nice! some are idiotic for sure! :lol:"how to lose 10bs" π Possible Answer: "eat less!" :doh:
:hat: I love these instructions! :right: they are not useless! :left: … you know, if you are working with people who come up to you in the morning complaining that their computer is crashed … and you come to their workplace just to figue out they have forgotten they had pulled the plug the evening before … π … I wish I could write these instructions myself instead of getting my daily dose of helplessness (or stupidity) regularly …
I like to read those instructions… :whistle:
Yoh, They are useful, I have some friends who really don't know about things like this… :p
:lol:.Yet I still consider buying a ready-made adapter to be inherently different to making one yourself. :p.So, in that respect, these instructions do not achieve their stated goal. :rolleyes:.
Aadil…
I like the instructions you get with some Jap or Chinese equipment. I sometimes have to read the instructions in English, Dutch and German before I understand what the hell they are trying to say. :faint:
When I put my model ships together, they come in so many languages, that it's hard to even find the English instructions anywhere. So, instead of reading, I just read the PICTURES. That way, I know where everything goes. The only thing bad about doing that, is whether or not everything is glued together. As for their painting instructions, how are you supposed to know what color is the English color name, when all it gives is a # and it don't coincide with the color numbers you have…lmao. So I do agree with everyone here.
Just because instructions are in clear English, it's not a guarantee that they will help. This phone came with a 138 page user manual and not a single one of the pages tells me anything about what I want to know. π₯ :p

I used to wonder if those instructions weren't translated from Chinese to English by a dyslexic Greek with the aid of a Jananese/Russian dictionary! :left:. Then I discovered online translators and finally understood the problem! :lol:.Originally posted by SqueakeyCat:
Now try that with an electronics circuit diagram! :p.Originally posted by fammcdon:
Actually, it's been at least fifteen years since I last read a manual that actually even bothers to discuss the device in question! :rolleyes:.

Hey! I have to have step-by-step instructions on bits of technology of which I have no knowledge—-we aren't all brainiacs like you Aadil. It scares the crap out of me every time I delete a Linux distro and install a new one. I need all the help I can get—and just to boggle your brain, yes, I have heard of PCMCIA but have no idea what it is.
