No Airtime

After recharging, I've still got no airtime. :cry:. …
I don't even know how I'm able to post this.
Basically, according to "customer assistance", the system started updating mere minutes after I loaded airtime and no one can do anything about this till after 8pm. :irked:.
So my phone is virtually useless for now. (although Opera Mini still works! :confused:).
Since, at 8pm, I might still have a low/zero balance, it might require me to recharge again with ZAR5 before I can send an SMS in order to recharge with a proper amount (from my bank account) so that I can buy a data bundle so that I can complete what I started twenty four hours ago. (that is forty eight hours later! :cry:)

Are you browsing from work? Maybe there's a wifi setup somewhere there that you've tapped into. Or one of your neighbours (if you're at home). Or have I got the concept wrong? (I'm just trying to figure out how Opera Mini is still working – can you send a message regarding your funds through that? You probably know all this already … ๐ )

This post used up the last 57c of airtime. :rolleyes:.The ZAR5 I recharged with is still MIA and when I phone "customer assistance" they tell me that;a) the system is still "updating"b) they can't do/check anything until it finishes updatingc) I can't recharge my account until then :rolleyes:.d) phone back in 24 hours! :faint:.I recharged from an ATM today without hassles but that ZAR5 is still MIA! :irked:.
I got surprisingly good results with my ISP once by letting slip that I was likely to go to the media about my levels of 'customer service' (current affairs programs, etc – I know, they're tabloid trash, but people watch them, and public perception in a company can affect stock) … :whistle:
Unrelated question. Can anyone else not get on Mik's page? Just me maybe?
@ Swaer, You're to send Mik a pm telling him which browser (and version) you're using according to one of his recent posts! :left:. He's aware of the problem and working to resolve it! :rolleyes:.@ David. The ijuts working in the 'customer assistance' call center couldn't give a damn about public perception. :rolleyes:. The fact that I spend large sums of money on data doesn't even registers with them! :irked:. I'd switch to another network, but they're the only network with a 3G infrastructure in my area! :awww:.
Bad costumer service just sucks. I hope they'll solve the problem! I hate it when things like that don't work! :irked:
One day there'll be other companies to choose from, and watch the exodus from the old company when competition arrives … ! ๐
David, when I was growing up, we had a lot of banks to choose from. Now there are only four. When I was growing up, there were numerous clothing shops, now they all belong to one of three clothing store groups. :awww:.The trend is for large companies to swallow up the small fry, thus further ensuring their monopoly! :irked:.
