In the beginning, there was the Sinclair ZX Spectrum! …
I found this on YouTube and I know at least one Speccy fan, so I thought I'd post it! :p.

π "Please wait … "Weird. When I saw the title of this post. I downloaded a program last night called Speccy – same spelling – and thought it was all rather a big coincidence until I saw the vid.
That'd be one long tape, BTW! π
Epileptics must have had a hard time with that one, huh? π
I'd guess it would have been headache inducing for some people. :p.David, if you're looking for games/programs for your emulator, Google is you friend..I use VICE (VersatIle Commodore Emulator) quite a bit..
I've got some old TRS-80 (Pooyan, Dungeons of Daggorath) and NES (Star Wars, Captain America and the Avengers, Robocop) programs on emulators through places like Abandononia and such … π
Oh, and Master Blaster! Can't forget that! One of the most awesome games of all time (I still have the old NES controller with the teeth marks in it to prove how awesome it was). :eyes:
I actually had a trs-80 at one time when I thought I could 'collect' these things. :left:. Bloody monster that has two massive eight inch drives built in and a built in vdu. :faint:. It took over the entire dining room table. I sold it for a profit together with a daisy wheel printer that came with it. That was about '95 or '96 :p.
Ahh, the old printers …… fffttttt …… fffttttt …… fffttttt …… the sound of nostalgia. π
I got it with a line printer and a daisy wheel printer. I sold the line printer seperately. People buying those ancient cp/m machines in the mid to late nineties still came back to me for more goodies! :faint:.(I sold the TRS-80 to a suit wearing 'doctor'. Don't know if he was a genuine medical doctor, or a herbal healer though.)I proved that 'obsolete' is all in the mind. What, for some people, is obsolete, for others it's just what they need..
