The war on drugs
by subacati
As a correctional officer,This is a story that directly affects me. About halfway trough this documentary, The 'growth industry' of prisons is mentioned. …
Crime is a high growth industry, and criminal justice is right at the top of the food chain. :awww:.
I shouldn't complain, my good salary is directly related to this 'growth industry' :left:.
Yes, i know that this is a long documentary, but you need to know this! :left:.
Just in case you're using a mobile, and you are crazy enough to download a 90 minute movie anyway, here is the VuClip link..

Yes it is long. Sad that many children are affected by drugs.Either by use or by parent/parents using them.
what's worse is that the system is set up in such a way that it makes things worse for the victims but makes the big boys rich! :awww:
You think the ones using drugs are victims or do you mean the children that have to live with parents that are users?
Why not both. Either way the war is lost. In any country. It's just a smokescreen. 😦
I didn't post a vuclip link mobile users Dennis. I figured that an Hour and a half was a bit much for most mobile phones anyway! :faint:.Viewing an addict as a criminal while the dealers go free doesn't make logical sense. The addict would not have been addicted had it not been for the efforts of the dealer!.I work in a prison, and I see many prisoners who should never have been in prison. :awww:.To understand my viewpoint, even though you may not agree, it's like arresting people who are HIV+ simply because they are! Yes, they cost the health department a lot in resources, yes they often die young leaving orphaned children. But arresting them won't change the fact that they have contracted a virus and that they need treatment. :left:. It would make more sense to arrest the virus. But of course, that's ridiculous! :awww:.
😦
I so agree with you Aadil! Being addicted must be a terrible way to have to live! The fact that the pushers go free, with fines – and/or light sentences, makes a mockery of the entire judicial system. 😦
I didn't watch the video yet cause i'm on mobile but i know how bad it is. Get addicted with something unuseful. I know the victims and i want to say please love yourself and your family, and everyone around you http://my.opera.com/MySukma/blog/new-years-resolution-to-love-yourself-more
This video is about the corruption that goes on in law enforcement!.Don't even try to watch it from a mobile! :insane:. it's an hour and a half long! :faint:.
Really? Wrong topic then :ko:i guess my memory card wouldnt enough to download it anyway lolcorruption still bad for us. The rich man get richer and the poor one wont eat goodly. Even their kids must looking for foods in a trash can.. How tragic
You can download the video from vuclip but I still think it's a bit long for the average mobile..
Thanks for the link aadil.. I had use vuclip several times when i want to watch videos about something. But they were not long than 10 minutes. My phone is an old type. I think they didnt produce it anymore
Well, as long as you have enough space it should work fine. So that's 32MB for the low memory version. If other video's from VuClip play on your phone then it's just a matter of space. Some really old phones won't play clips more than a minute long. So then you'd have to download the one minute snippets of the movie. :left:.There's 83 of them altogether! :insane:.
Yes. It will insane me :faint:i guess i'll wait for some free time to go to internet cafe. Maybe next month :left: :right:
