The idea behind it is that if you're an avid twitter user, you're probably keeping track of who follows you. So a spammer creates an account, posts one or two and a link (i.e. 'check out my new pics! $link'). Then they start following a whole bunch of people, who get notified about that, open their spammy profile and with a little bit of luck click on that link.
I haven't sent a tweet in over a year, so I've no idea what they want to 'follow'..
I get several spammers following per week. Luckily, it's incredibly easy to report them as spam.
I got someone that tried to follow my “secure”, non-public test account as well… Weird stuff.
Maybe she's a stalker.
I want a stalker too! 😥

But it only works if I'm an active Twitter user. I haven't sent a tweet for over a year..
Yeah, somehow I'm not under the impression that them lazy spammers take time or effort to investigate those kind of "details". 😉
True, they can't even be bothered to see whether it's a man or a woman that they're offering an enlargement to! :p.
:sing: one pill makes you larger, one pill makes you small, and the ones that mother gives you don't do anything at all… / :sing
