Sim card registration failed

Aaaaaargh!.
This is the message I recieved at about 17h15 today. :awww:. …
For no apparent reason, my phone kinda lost contact with reality for a bit. :insane:.
For whatever reason, my phone suddenly would not allow calls or check my airtime balance. It insisted that there was no signal..
Strangly enough, I could access internet fine. :left:.
Everything seems back to normal for now, but I expect that this may be a foreboding of things to come in the 'free' and 'democratic' South Africa! :insane:.
If you are not the only one with that problem, then you have not to worry. It is out of your control, anyway  :left: Wait…
Just google the title of this post. 🙄 .
Your phone is stolen? Then…. :insane::P
That happened to me if you remember.Couldn't get on anything though :irked:.When I popped in my spare battery it worked fine but even now when I put in my old battery it says just that.
It's a well known Nokia problem. They tend to forget they've got a SIM card in if they overheat. Happened to me dozens of times.
So my old battery is fried?
:eyes:
I was thinking it may be RICA related. Actually, that is the message I'd get if they actually blocked my phone. :left:.I've had this phone for over a year now and it was bought legit and brand new from Vodacom. So I'm quite certain it's not a stolen phone..Of course, the firmware is branded and somewhat buggy. And there is no way to upgrade it as there is only one firmware registered for this region code. :irked:.My next phone will be an import!.I want an unbranded phone that is fully upgradable. :awww:.

It isn't. I got the message before I registered and then did. Suddenly the problem went away. But I put in my old battery the other day and just now and it gives me that error message now. Thus through a process of limited elimination it must be battery for me.Are you able to get a loaner battery somewhere?
It only happened once. Around here you can only get those horrid chinese batteries that don't fit properly! :insane:.
If only once then maybe you're safe. Mine happened for a few days and I couldn't do anything. Scared me as I thought my mobile was messed up.
Then it seems u stole the sim card from someone
I've had this sim for over 4 years now. Who the hell steals sim cards?
.
