Travelogue
by subacati
I'm going up to Bethlehem. (Orange Free State).
This is a last minute, spur of the moment thing. I'm leaving straight from work in the morning to catch a bus from Durban station. :insane:.
I hate all the hustle and bustle of traveling, so if I sound cranky over the next 48hr's or so, you know why. :p.
I'll be returning next week friday to start work on saturday! :faint:.
I plan to be online through most of it, but if I don't get the chance, see ya when I see ya!.
(there'll be video's, maybe! :left:)
Awesome. Have safe travels and hope you truly enjoy yourself!!
Be safe & have fun! ๐

Have fun!
w00t! :applause: I can't wait to see pictures, videos, and whatever else you post. :DDogs pwn!
I plan on shooting some video's .You'll also get to see my puppy dawg, Scampy. :D. (full story about that when I'm not too lazy :left:)
:headbang: excellent…. Can't wait. Love the puppies name! Travelling now, I take it!
Video's, YAY. :hat: ๐
w00h00!!! I can't wait to see vids!
Still at work. :awww:.My shift ends at 07h30 (05h30GMT). I travel to Durban by minibus taxi, my bus leaves Durban Station at 11h30 (09h30GMT) and arrives in Bethlehem at 16h50 (14h50GMT).Of course, there's no guarantee that those times will be kept to :p.
You too, Amir!! Aadil, you are traveling by now…. Hope you enjoy the ride… It's much better than being cranky. :p
 And a happy new Persian year "Norooz" To you all ๐
Have a safe trip ! Hope it doesn't get tooo boring.
Get lots of
I made it!. Now I needs me some sleep! :ko:
Enjoy! Glad you made it and you don't even sound cranky! ๐
Yay! You made it!
Have a great weekend and have a good sleep Sir Aadil.
Thanks! ๐
I was thinking the same thing. *taps foot* I can't wait to see some video!
Come on with the pictures now :irked: :p
I can't watch the video's, it says extension 4. ๐ฆ
Search youtube for (subacati) I'm still trying to fix my website. :left:.first videosecond videothird videosecond video
My Windows Media Player said it doesn't reconize extension 4. Can not find it on You tube either:http://www.youtube.com/results?search_type=&search_query=subacati&aq=f
Search 'subacati' on YouTube. It's the same video's there. You should be able to play mpeg4 files with Windows Media Player though!.You could try using Nero to covert it to another format. But try the YouTube first. :awww:.
Those are awesome! ๐ The tile in the waiting room looks like the stuff we have at the motel I used to work at. :eyes:Here are the Youtube links:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LRLBQgoQfDUhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7mO2pgdxqcohttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GofJnDIFc8Qhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wTlFthnzmrM
After looking at Carol's link, I'm wondering if I had the right videos. They looked right. :left:
Casey has the correct links..@Carol, I don't understand why your media player is choking, but it sounds like part of the file extention is missing. It should be .mp4your search failed because you specified Great Britain in your search. Check your preference settings in YouTube and set geo-location to none..
Yours look right. Mine look goofy.
I still can't get the first video file (Leaving_Umzinto) to play on my players, but I can get the rest to play easily. I'm not sure what's up with that file, Aadil, but it really doesn't want to work.Windows Media Player won't play mp4 files, but DivX and VideoLan will play the codec. Both players are free, so if someone wants to mess with those instead, they can. ๐
I will definitely be coming back to look at your videos in a little while. I can't watch them right now as Lonnie is on the phone in this room, and I can't play videos or music while he's on the phone with clients. ๐
The videos were a nice look. I really had no idea there were Greyhound buses in Africa. :eyes: That's the company that my husband runs here locally.
qlue, the last three links worked but not the first one in your comment. As for my You Tube link, it shows your videos there now. I didn't put Great Britain in my search, I just copied what you said to search subacati. :)As for preference settings, I don't know, I went to advanced options and do not see any geo-location. I do not have an account there. Under advanced options I don't see any place selected. ๐
I see. Look forward to the first one when you get it done. Enjoy your trip, you can fix the video when you get back. :)Still no ":D" smilie box.
Then it's a bug in the search engine.. It's specified in the url even though you didn't specify it. :awww:. The 'leaving Umzinto' video is corrupted. It's too long for YouTube and I need a stable network before I can upload it to my website. :awww:. Shozu won't upload it so I have to use the ftp portal when I have some network stability. I'm building a viewer for video on my site but my reference books are at home so it's kinda hard to find the info I need to do it properly.
You got the rest loaded though! ๐ We got to see some of what you're up to.
Super Cool!Spur of the moment trips are always fun……Especially when you discover that you have forgotten your <insert important medication here>!
:irked: for some reason, my media player isn't working. Fudgebudget! I will mess around with it tonight and hopefully get to see them tomorrow, Aadi. ๐ฎ
Apparently, Windows Media Player does not support the mpeg4 format. :awww:. Try to get Real Media Player or, as Casey suggested, one of the two that she's linked to above?..It's frustrating that Windows never seems to support universal standards properly, if at all. :irked:.
Will someone using Opera or FF please test this link. It's a video player test. I don't think it will work in IE. :left:.
Firefox and Opera load the player, but my connection is too slow at work to tell if it loads the test video. I'll let you know when I get home whether it loads the rest. ๐
Not a problem. ๐
Thanks..
IE and FF won't play it, but Opera does. It takes a few moments to load, but it does load and play just fine.
Just another proof that Opera is the best standards compliant browser..My phones built in browser also works with that page. If I can find a way to covert the videos to flash then it should work in all three browsers..
I had the same thought about the browser compatibilities. ๐
Qlue.. Use Ovi.. You can send via email and it's very mobile friendly..
