Unfortunately, apparently so, because they keep sending them out. In a perfect world, nobody would and the scam (and its variants) would fold within weeks – but there's always someone out there without an education, or with an education who thinks of nothing but easy money – who fall for this kind of thing.I got one this very morning that – out of the blue – started halfway through the usual 419 scam. "I've deposited the money in your account" (which is quite something, because they don't even know me). Presumably, they want people to contact them to say, "I know nothing about it", at which point they'll try the hard sell. Sigh. Scammers … :irked:
I'm wondering why he thinks I'd go for something so stupid. :confused: .I've trashed most of my spam over the last few months but this one was so different and audacious that I just had to post it. :eyes: .In what kind of warped alternate reality would a totall stranger send an atm bank card loaded with a kings ransom to someone? Even if two people knew each other, that could only be criminal activity. Is anyone stupid enough to fall for this?

I need to post some of the adds of 'herbalists' from our local newspapers. They promise everything from penis enlargement to a cure for aids. You can even get 'bad luck' removed or get the 'winning' lottery numbers. :whistle:

What about the ones that say, "You don't need to go to a doctor to fill your doctor's prescription".Uh … okay … first, I can't get a prescription without going to a doctor. Second, I don't go to my doctor to fill them, I go to the chemist. Third, I'd put a lot more faith in trained medical personnel than some wanker who spams me. Fourth … 🙄
